Mark Wallage

Co-owner, Creative Director

Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Psychology. He has been producing major events for over 25 years.  He has created dazzling opening Ceremonies for international events throughout Australia and Asia, often incorporating complex video and film sequences. Mark is known for his skill as a live event director and show caller, and was employed in that role for the Sydney & Beijing Olympics; the Melbourne Commonwealth Games; and the Asian Games in Doha in 2006. As well as overseeing CEM’s operations, Mark manages the creative and technical production of CEM’s events.

Susannah Gallagher (on extended family leave)

Co-owner, Conferences & Events Director

Susannah has 16 years’ experience as a Professional Conference Organiser and has worked on Conferences ranging from 25 to 6000 delegates. Susannah is recognised by the industry body, Meetings & Events Australia, as an Accredited Meetings Manager (AMM). Susannah holds a Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Diploma in Tourism Management and Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.

Susan Comtempree

General Manager, Conferences & Events

Susan has been managing events for over 25 years for a variety of clients, ranging from small national events of 100 delegates to large international meetings of 5,000. Susan brings this level of expertise to the whole CEM team, ensuring team development and staff growth.

Kalia Bell

Conference Manager

Kalia has a Bachelor of Business from UTS. As well as managing her own conferences, Kalia’s role within CEM is to manage the Conference programs, speakers and oversee all logistics including registration process, accommodation, supplier management and assist with Award show production.

Georgia Beerens

Conference Assistant

Georgia joined CEM in early 2018 as a graduate from the College of Event Management with a Diploma of Event Management. As well as managing delegate registrations and hotel bookings, Georgia is skilled in website management, EDM’s, and design.

Peter Will Diploma in Graphic Design

Art Director
Having worked with a number of leading creative agencies and television networks in Australia, Asia and Europe for over 20 years, Peter’s expertise in graphic design, animation, logo design, special effects and video is second to none.

Valerie Gowen

Financial Controller
Valerie is a qualified Financial Controller with over 20 years’ experience in the meetings and events industry. As well as managing CEM’s financial affairs, Val assists in budget preparation and GST matters for a wide variety of conferences under CEM management
